Do I need a 15 yr sealer?

Sure if your not going to clean it for 15 years. In a few years your problem will be your dirty tile and grout.
When your floor gets a profesional cleaning, most of the sealer will be stripped off any way and will need to be resealed.
With proper cleaners a good sealer will last until your next cleaning. But its got to be the right sealer for the right stone surface.
Beware of any one who tries to sell you a sealer that they claim it will protect against everything, because their is no such sealer that will do that .
Sealers are only one part of the stonecare process. You understanding how to care for your stone is the main thing
