My marble is etching, but it was sealed

Sealing provides a limited amount of protection that is often misunderstood by most customers and sometimes over sold by some service providers.
Sealers are more effective on some stones and less on others because of their natural various"DENSITIES, POROSITIES and SURFACE FINISH".
A sealer simply slows down moisture penetration time. 90% of the time the problem is surface etching from something acidic. The sealer slows down the amount of damage that would have occured, had there been no sealer at all. Spills from toilet bowl & tile cleaners, citris fruit drinks, or vinigar are usualy what causes the damage..
